Welcome to the Feldberger Hof, your family-run children’s hotel on the Feldberg in the Upper Black Forest. Since 1993, families have been enjoying premium all-inclusive holidays with us at an altitude of 1,300 metres: with childcare for children aged 6 months and over, 5 water parks and a spa – all under one roof.
At the Familienhotel am Feldberg, families can enjoy a holiday full of variety and relaxation whatever the season. As one of Germany’s best-known family hotels, we combine a child-friendly atmosphere, wellness and the great outdoors to ensure relaxed parents and happy children.
Whether it’s running about in the Fundorena indoor hall, playing and having fun in Happy’s Children’s World, or relaxing in the Balinese wellness oasis Devi, there’s something for every member of the family at the Feldberger Hof. Our caring childcare service gives parents some real quality time together, whilst the little ones are well looked after.
In winter, the Feldberg in the Black Forest becomes a winter wonderland. Children learn to ski in a playful way on children’s or family ski courses. Alternatively, sledge rides, snowball fights and building snowmen provide plenty of winter fun.
In summer, families can explore the Feldberg Nature Reserve along child-friendly walking trails and adventure trails. Young adventurers can experience nature in an active and playful way.
With the Hochschwarzwald Card, guests enjoy free access to over 90 leisure activities. At the Hotel Feldberger Hof, a caring childcare service for children aged 6 months to 15 years ensures that parents can also enjoy their time away.

In our baby room at Happy’s Kids’ World, your little ones are in the best hands. Our age-appropriate childcare ensures that babies from 6 months feel completely at ease, even without mum and dad. In the cosy baby lounge by the Funpark, parents and babies can enjoy holiday time together.

In Bergzwergenland at Happy’s Kids’ World, your little ones can discover the world through play. For us, wellness with children is simply part and parcel of a short break in the Black Forest. As one of the few hotels on the Feldberg to feature a wellness area, we offer parents a genuine break whilst the children are well looked after. Leave the daily grind behind and enjoy our sauna area! The soothing warmth of the Kelo log cabin sauna and the bio sauna ensures a relaxing break for adults. And our clothed infrared sauna is even suitable for the whole family. Brand new for families: the fairy-tale sauna! Here, young and old alike can enjoy a unique sauna experience: during the sauna session, a child-friendly fairy tale plays on a screen – when the story ends, so does the sauna session. Afterwards, you can really unwind on the sunbathing lawn or in the relaxation room.

Our children’s hotel in the Black Forest is situated at an altitude of 1,300 m, right next to the Feldberg – the highest mountain in the Black Forest and also the largest ski resort outside the Alps. Its location within a nature reserve makes the Feldberger Hof a special family hotel in southern Germany. Here, you’ll find ski slopes, walking trails, lakes for swimming and many other day-trip destinations practically on our doorstep!
In winter, you can head straight from the hotel onto the slopes or the toboggan run. In the family ski course and the children’s ski area, the little ones can take their first turns on the slopes. The short distances make a winter holiday with children particularly relaxing.
In summer, the lakes Titisee and Schluchsee are just a few minutes’ drive away – ideal for pedal boat trips, swimming and picnics. Nearby hiking trails, such as the Wichtelpfad, the path to the Feldberg or to Feldsee, offer adventures in the countryside. With the Haus der Natur and the outdoor climbing forest, you have two further opportunities to get to know the Black Forest. With the Konus guest card, you can explore the region free of charge by bus and train. If you’re looking for a family-friendly hotel near Titisee, Schluchsee or Freiburg, the Feldberger Hof is the perfect choice – right in the heart of the nature reserve yet conveniently located for transport links.
